It will be remiss of me to not talk about how to store dry goods. I have had many readers come to me in the past asking for help with storing dry goods such as peppers, fish, beans, etc.
For beans which are susceptible to nasty weevils, you have two options. One is to pour in some dried chili peppers, the very hot variety. This creates an environment that is not comfortable for the weevils to proliferate in. Take picture.
If you are lucky to have enough freezer space, pack your beans in plastic bags and keep in the freezer.
2. For other items like nuts, seeds, spices, egusi etc, Pack in freezer bags, label and seal. Ensure you let out all the air. Air tight or semi air tight freezer bags help the spices retain their potency and freshness too
take picture of storing egusi whole, take picture of 1st and last drawer of freezer, and take picture of dry goods in last drawer in the kitchen
