This recipe was sent in by Peggy U and is a great addition to the blog and another fantastic Breakfast or early dinner idea. I have already written about Crêpes (HERE), so it is great to read about the other end of the taste scale, which is savoury. You can use a combination of many ingredients to make a savoury pancake, there’s no limit. It is the filling that makes it a savoury pancake. So, you first have to make the pancakes first following my recipe in the link above, then you make your savoury filling which can comprise of chopped onions, tomatoes, peppers, spring onions, peas, cheese, ham, bacon, sausages etc. Pick and choose ingredients that you love, which will make your pancakes more fun to eat. Think of the pancake as pizza dough. You can add any topping you wish.
If you can’t source salmon you can use crocker fish or cod as substitute. Titus fish may be a little too strong, but this is personal preference. Thanks Peggy. I’m sure your kids must love this.
