Omebe (Black Soup or Obe Marugbo)

It is called Black soup because of the colour. The vegetables used (bitter leaf and efinrin) are stone grounded and added to a palm nut meaty and fish stock base. It is synonymous with the Edo people of Nigeria. It is the perfect partner to many swallow meals. Made from:

  • Palm Nut broth
  • Bitter leaf
  • Peppers
  • Assorted Meats (Beef, Shaki, Cowleg), Smoked Fish & Stockfish
